The Chronicles of Evangeleigh

This is a collection of short fantasy stories, and while set in my own world, most characters have been inspired by characters I play in various games.

When this “collection” is complete, it will become a book. You know, “someday”.

I need a name for my world/planet. I had one, a great one I adored. I didn’t write it down, I forgot it. Suggestions for a new name will be appreciated.

Warning: Some stories contain scenes not intended for an immature audience.

Aamia maybe? I’m not too sure on a name as all I have to go by is Erosots. What other races/creatures and evils exist in this world. I don’t know about you but everytime I try to think of a world name nothing really ever sticks out and I just end up getting frustrated and start mixing together words from stuff I find in front of me. I did come up with a really good name for a character of mine by doing that once…can’t remember for the life in me what it was πŸ˜›

Help us out and describe your world? Earth-like? Hoth-like? Dune-like? Or wait…did you build it beautiful?

A better question might be, what’s it like on your world? High fantasy? Futuristic? Steam punk?

    Or medieval style, modern building?

    Fantasy. Not modern.
Earth-like (think Eurasia landmass, the Rocky Mountains, and a flock of Australia’s to the south and east).
    Gods/religion that matter.
A bit of romance and erotica amongst the big problems.
And ‘pirates’ – you gotta have pirates. πŸ˜€

    Elves (2 versions of them)
The Benlough (mountain men – not human)
Humans (various races, countries, and cultures)
    The Orsiks (think gnomes/hobbits/dwarfs)

Oh man, this is making me want to call in sick and write all day! πŸ™

  5. Lil_Jo says:

Benlough is something like bearlike mans or what should they look like?
I want to be an elve – but a lazy one – just sitting on the trees watching nature and listenuΓng to music πŸ˜›

I played around a bit with this idea but could come up with only names that I think are too obvious, like “Enchantra.” Then it struck me. The name of your world is:

This name arose in the elder days when the most powerful civilization in the world was one of advanced shepherds. As their traders went out to all the corners of the world with their wool and wool products, they need a name to put on the maps they were compiling. They decided to name their world after their most valuable possession and the source of their wealth and culture: their ewes.

As with all great empires, this civilization’s glory has now faded, but much of its culture remains. To this day, the people of the world awake every morning, rub the sleep from their eyes, look around at their beautiful, magical world, and say, “Hey, Ewe!”

    “Gods/religion that matter…”

How about: Underheaven, Godsgarden or Penultima? Um…adding in “mater,” meaning “mother”: Penultimater?

[Personally, I think Godsgarden fits you best.]

Maybe something like Sanctuary of the Gods , Kissleigh ( Your name and Kiss for Luck ? πŸ™‚ ) I am not good at good names
